What is ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis)

ABA is a scientific approach to understanding and improving behavior. It uses principles of learning theory to bring about meaningful changes in behavior, skills, and communication by applying evidence-based techniques and interventions.

2

How do I know if ABA is right for my child?

ABA can be beneficial for many individuals, especially those with specific behavioral and developmental challenges. A thorough assessment by a qualified ABA professional can help determine if ABA is appropriate and what specific interventions would be most effective for your child.

3

How is progress measured?

Progress is measured through ongoing data collection and analysis. ABA professionals track behaviors, skills, and goals using quantitative data to assess improvements and make necessary adjustments to the intervention plan.

4

Will my insurance cover ABA therapy?

Many insurance plans cover ABA therapy, especially for individuals with ASD. Coverage can vary, so it’s important to check with your insurance provider to understand the specifics of your plan, including coverage limits and required documentation. Currently, Child Champions ABA Services is in-network with Tricare. We may add other payors in the near future.
